Instructor – Miki Tsuchiya
Miki is a professional belly dancer, choreographer and instructor who is originated from Japan and lives in Singapore since 2003. She began studying belly dance since 2004. Miki’s primary mentor was the late Nur Shiblie, the founder of Alhambra Bellydance Singapore, who taught her for 10 years. Not only did Shiblie teach Miki the dance techniques and the cultural background of the art but she also coached her on how to release her unique energy and express herself freely on stage. Nur Shiblie left in 2016 but Miki aims to preserve her legacy by sharing her artistry with her students.

Miki has also travelled to Egypt to attend Nile Group Festival in 2008, 2009, and 2010, and she has been constantly taking workshops from renowned teachers across the globe to upskilled herself.
She was a second winner in Raks Egypt Japan Dance festival in 2014, and a third winner in -The ONE- belly dance competition held in Japan in 2015.

She has been teaching belly dance since 2014. Her passion is to share the joy of this beautiful art form and make women shine and confident of who they are.
She has completed A-Z Belly Dance Teacher training Course in 2020 conducted by Keti Sharif and being nominated to be a personal mentor for Keti’s students who will participate in her 2021 ultimate A-Z Bellydance course.
Miki has been keep studying bellydance not only from local teacher from international masters to upskill herself since 2004.
